Bansal Trader

Working out of Gill Road near Durgi Road is always a bit hectic. Bansal Trader isn't some big corporate office; it’s just where we handle the buying and selling of stuff. Most days are spent on the phone or talking to people who drop by the shop. The location is right where the two roads meet, so there’s always something happening outside. We deal with a lot of supplies, and the floor is usually covered with pallets and plastic wrap. It’s a lot of manual labor, honestly. My back usually aches by five o'clock. We don't have any fancy displays or anything like that. Things are just stacked where they fit. If someone needs something, we go find it in the pile. Sometimes we can't find the pen to write down an order, which is annoying, but we manage. The air smells like cardboard and old paper most of the time. We’ve been at this spot for a good bit now, and we know the other shop owners around Gill Road pretty well. We share tea sometimes when it's not too busy. The trucks coming from Durgi Road make the windows rattle a little bit every time they pass. It’s just a normal trading business. We try to keep the inventory moving so nothing sits for too long. It’s a simple way to make a living, even if it gets a bit tiring sometimes. I guess we will just keep at it as long as we can.
