Ajit Singh & Sons is located in the village of Nauranga Bagh, not too far from the Dist-Tarang area. It’s a quiet place compared to the city. We have a lot of space out here in the village. The business has been in the family for a while, and we just keep things running the way they’ve always been. We don’t have any fancy signs or neon lights. People in Nauranga Bagh know who we are and where to find us. Mostly, we are dealing with things related to the land and local needs. There’s a lot of dirt and open sky around us. We spend our days sitting in the shade when it’s hot, waiting for the next delivery or visitor. It’s not a fast-paced life. We talk about the weather and the crops as much as we talk about business. The road near Dist-Tarang can be bumpy, so it takes a while for goods to reach us. We don’t use much technology here, just our hands and some old ledgers that have seen better days. Ajit Singh & Sons is just a family name on a building in a village. We wake up, open the doors, and see what the day brings. It’s a simple way to live and work.
