We are right on the G.T. Road, which is basically the lifeline of this area. Being on such a main road means things are always moving fast. Ashish Trading Co has been around for a while now, and we’ve seen the traffic grow every single year. Our shop is easy to find because of where it sits. We deal in various goods, mostly wholesaling to other smaller businesses. The front of the place is always cluttered with items that just arrived or are about to be shipped out. We don’t really bother with making it look like a boutique because that’s not what our customers want. They want to know we have what they need in stock. The back warehouse is where the real bulk of the business happens. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and moving crates around. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when three different deliveries show up at once. We’ve got a small crew of people who have been with us for a long time. They know the inventory by heart. Working on G.T. Road means you get used to the constant honking and the dust from the highway. We just keep the doors open and stay busy with whatever the day brings. G.T. Road is always under some kind of construction it seems, which makes things interesting when we're trying to load up the trucks. We've got a little office in the corner where we have tea. It’s just an honest way to work.
