Bharat Building Material Store

Bharat Building Material Store is located over in Sector 22, specifically at D 12 in Chaura Bazar. This part of the bazar is always a bit chaotic with all the different shops selling hardware and tools, and our spot is right in the middle of it. We keep a lot of our heavier stuff like sand and bricks piled up where it is easy to load onto the carts. The interior of D 12 is mostly just racks of pipes and bags of plaster that go all the way to the ceiling. It can get pretty cramped when we have a big delivery coming in, and we usually end up moving things around three or four times a day just to reach what a customer needs. The office area is just a small desk with a calculator and a bunch of dusty clipboards. We don't really have a showroom; it is more of a working warehouse where people come when they need actual materials for a job. It gets very cold in the winter because the big rolling door stays open most of the day for the loaders. We spend a lot of time on the phone checking with suppliers or trying to figure out why a truck is running late. It is a lot of physical work, lifting bags and counting out tiles, but it is what we know how to do. The neighbors at D 11 and D 13 are good people, and we all help each other out.
