Perfect Mechanical Works

You can find Perfect Mechanical Works over on Street No 11/3 in Kalsi Nagar, right across from Nirmal Palace in the Kabir Nagar area. It’s a spot we’ve called home for a good many years now. The name might sound a bit formal, but we’re just a regular machine shop doing what we can. The street outside can get a bit muddy when it rains, and we’re always moving bits of metal around so it’s never exactly tidy inside. We deal with all sorts of mechanical repairs and part making. It’s loud, greasy work, but someone has to do it. We don’t have a fancy waiting room or a secretary. Usually, you’ll just find one of us covered in oil, leaning over a lathe or a drill press. We learned the trade from our elders and just kept going with it. It’s not a glamorous job, but there’s a certain satisfaction in fixing something that was broken. We get a lot of regulars from around the neighborhood who know they can just drop by. Sometimes we have a backlog of work, so things might take a couple of days, but we try to be fair about it. The shop has seen better days, the walls could use a fresh coat of paint, and the sign is a bit faded, but the machines still run well and that’s what actually matters to us at the end of the day.
