Amrit Auto Engineers

We are located at 538/A on Singala Cycle Road, right across from the Dhandari Railway Station. You can hear the trains passing by all day long while we work at Amrit Auto Engineers. Being so close to the G.T. Road means there is always a lot of movement outside our doors. It is a very busy spot. We handle a lot of engineering tasks for different vehicles that come through. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings and old engine parts that need looking at. We have a few benches set up where we do the heavy lifting and the fine-tuning. It’s a bit of a rough-and-ready setup but it works for the kind of stuff we do. Most people find us because they are already in the area for the station or the main road. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the sign out front and the work we do every day. Sometimes when the station is really crowded, the whole road gets jammed up with people and rickshaws. We just keep working through it. It is a loud environment with the trains and the traffic, but you get used to it after a week or two. We have been at this for a long time and don’t plan on going anywhere. It is a solid place to be for this kind of work. The tea man comes around twice a day and that is usually when we take our only real breaks.
