Auto Link Engineers

You can find us at Sherpur Kharwadi Road, Bhander Road 208. We go by Auto Link Engineers. The name sounds more formal than the place actually is. Most days, it’s just the sound of lathes and drills going. We take on a lot of different engineering jobs. Some are small, some take a few days. The floor is concrete and it’s seen better days. We don't really worry about the aesthetics of the place as long as the machines are running right. Working on Bhander Road means there is always a lot of dust from the trucks passing by. We keep the doors open for the breeze, even if it brings the dirt in. It’s a practical setup. We have a small corner for files and bills, but mostly the space is for the equipment. I’ve been doing this for years, and my father did it before me. It’s honest work. We don’t have a website or anything like that. People just drop in when they have a part that needs fixing or something that needs to be made. Sometimes we stay late to finish a job if someone is in a hurry. The lights inside are those long fluorescent tubes that flicker a bit when you first turn them on. It's just a regular shop where we try to do right by the people who come in. No big speeches or corporate talk, just engineering. We usually close up when the sun goes down and start again early the next day.
