We operate out of 81-B in Bhai Himmat Singh Nagar, over in the Dugri area. It’s a bit more of a residential-feeling spot compared to the big industrial zones, but there are plenty of small businesses tucked away around here. Our building is a simple structure with a large metal shutter in the front. We keep the bearings in the back section where it’s a bit cooler and darker. The front part is where we handle the billing and talk to anyone who stops by with a question. Dugri has changed a lot over the years, getting much busier, but our little corner remains pretty much the same. We have a small team of people who have been with us for a long time. We don't have any big corporate policies or staff handbooks. We just know how things need to be done. Most of our morning is spent checking the new arrivals and making sure they are stored in the right bins. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we find ways to make it interesting enough. Sometimes we have tea brought in from the stall at the corner. We don't do any flashy advertising at all. Word of mouth usually brings people to our door. If a customer needs a bearing that we don't have in stock, we try to help them find where they can get it. It’s just about being helpful and keeping the business running smoothly every single day.
