Kashmir Apiaries Export

Out here in Village Mallipur, things move at a certain pace. We are right off G.T. Road, so you always hear the trucks rumbling by, which is a bit of a contrast to the back where the bees are. Kashmir Apiaries Export has been operating from this spot for quite some time now. It’s not a fancy setup. We spend most of our mornings checking on the hives and seeing how the honey is coming along. Some days the smoke from the smokers gets in your eyes and you just have to deal with it. We handle the export part from this office, which is mostly just a few desks and a lot of filing cabinets that have seen better days. The floors are a bit uneven, but it works for what we do. We get the honey, we process it a bit, and we get it ready to go out to wherever it’s headed next. People think it’s a clean, easy job but there’s a lot of lifting and getting stung every now and then. We don’t really have a big fancy lobby or anything like that because we’re usually too busy in the back or out on the road. It’s just how things are around here. We make sure the jars are sealed right and the labels aren’t crooked, though sometimes one or two might slip through if we're in a hurry. It's just honest work in a small village.
