Big N Meats

Our shop is on Pakhowal Road in Ludhiana, right across from the Ranjit Towers. We have been here for a while, dealing with meat every single day. The morning starts really early for us because we have to get everything chopped and ready before the first customers show up. It's a lot of heavy lifting and cleaning. We spend a good chunk of our day washing down the counters and making sure everything is tidy. The smell of the shop is what you'd expect from a butcher place. We have our regulars who come in every week for their usual order. They usually stand around and chat for a bit while we wrap things up in paper. The traffic on Pakhowal Road is always moving, and sometimes it's hard for people to find a spot to park. We just stay inside and keep working through the orders. It’s a messy job and our aprons are usually stained by noon. We don't have any fancy displays or special lighting. It's just the meat in the cases and the sound of the knives on the boards. Sometimes the fridge acts up and we have to call someone to fix it, which is always a hassle. We just focus on the work and getting home at the end of the day. It's a local business and we just do our part in the neighborhood.
