If you go to the main bus stand in Ludhiana, you will find us in the Bus Stand Market. It is a very hectic area because there are buses coming in from all over Punjab and other states at every hour. Our place is called Amit Vegetarian and we focus on serving simple veg meals to the travelers and workers around the station. When people are traveling, they often want something that is clean and tastes like home, and that is what we try to provide. The market is always loud with the sound of engines and people shouting for their buses. We have a small seating area where you can sit down for a few minutes and eat before your next bus departs. It is not a place for a long, slow dinner because most people are in a hurry. We've been here at the Ludhiana bus stand for a long time and we understand the needs of the commuters. The kitchen starts early to make sure the subjis and rotis are ready for the first batch of travelers. We don't use any fancy ingredients, just the regular stuff you find in a Punjabi kitchen.
