Barmani Flor Mill Lud

Our mill is located right on the GT Road, very close to the Jalandhar Bye Pass in the Salem Tabri area. Because we are so close to the main highway, the sound of big trucks and buses passing by is something we hear all day long. The mill stays quite busy because of where we are situated. There is flour dust on almost every single surface inside, no matter how many times we try to sweep it up. It is a very simple building made of brick and concrete. We don’t have any fancy furniture or a nice reception desk for guests. You just walk through the main doors and someone will be there to help you out. We handle a massive amount of grain every day. These machines have been running for a long time and they are very loud. Sometimes they need a bit of a push to get started on cold mornings. My clothes are always completely white by the time I head home for dinner. People around Ludhiana know this industrial area well. It is a gritty part of the city, but we fit in just fine. We don't bother with marketing or trying to look corporate. We just show up, turn on the motors, and get to the work at hand. The work is physically heavy and lifting those bags all day is tough on the knees. We take our breaks at a small tea stall nearby. We are mostly focused on finishing the day's orders. It has been this way for a long time.
