Down here near Jamalpur, we have Dhillon Machanical Work Engineering. We are right by Bikaner Sweets, which is where most people go to find us. If you smell sugar and then hear the sound of lathes, you are probably in the right place. We do engineering work. It’s mostly fixing parts or making new ones when something breaks down. We aren't a massive factory with hundreds of workers. It’s a smaller setup where we know every tool we own. The floor is usually covered in some oil and metal shavings. We spend our days measuring things and making sure the fit is right. Engineering is a lot of trial and error sometimes. We’ve been in this part of Jamalpur for years. The traffic outside is always a mess, but inside we just focus on the machines. We don't have a receptionist or a polished waiting room. If you come in, you just talk to whoever isn't holding a wrench at that moment. We take on all kinds of mechanical jobs. Some are easy, some take us a few days to figure out. It’s honest work. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just fix things and build parts. That's the way it has always been for us at this shop. We keep the machines oiled and the workbench busy as long as there is work to do. There isn't much more to it than that. We just enjoy the challenge of a difficult repair.
