Gopals Eat & Joy

Gopals Eat & Joy is located at 289/100 on the main road in BRS Nagar, Ludhiana. We are quite close to Namdev Chowk, which is a landmark most people in the city recognize. Our place is not very big, but we have enough space for a few tables where families can sit down. The main road is always busy with cars and scooters, so there is a constant hum of engines outside. We do a lot of snacks and small meals that people like to grab on their way home. The walls are painted a simple color and we have some basic fans to keep the air moving when it gets humid. In Ludhiana, the weather changes quite a bit and we have to adjust things inside accordingly. During the rainy season, people track in a lot of mud, so the staff is always busy with a bucket and a mop. We have a small counter where people pay and sometimes there is a wait if it’s a weekend. We don't have a huge menu with hundreds of items. It’s just the stuff we know how to make well. The kids from the neighborhood often come in for something sweet in the afternoons. It’s a casual atmosphere where nobody feels the need to dress up. We just try to keep the food coming out reasonably fast so people don't get restless while they wait.
