Ludhiana is a city that loves to eat, and being in Ghumar Mandi means we are surrounded by people all day long. It gets quite cramped in this lane, but that’s the charm of a local dhaba. We’ve been serving here for years. It’s a simple shop, not much for decoration. We focus on the cooking more than anything else. You can hear the sounds of the market while you sit here. The nearby Sabi Market brings in a lot of shoppers who need a break. We see the same faces every week, people who live around here or work in the nearby offices. It’s a bit hot in the kitchen, but we are used to it by now. The winters are better when the air is crisp. We don't do anything fancy, just the regular stuff people expect from a dhaba in Punjab. We open early and close late. It’s a lot of standing and moving around. There’s no corporate office or anything, just us at the shop in 141001. If you know the area, you know where we are. It’s just a small part of the big Ludhiana food scene. We don't have a big menu, just what we make best every day for the crowd that stops in.
