Career Academy

You’ll find Career Academy over in Sarabha Nagar, Dongri, specifically at SCF 23-24-25. We take up a few of the shop-cum-flat units there. It’s a good-sized space, but we’ve filled it up with plenty of benches and desks. It’s the kind of place where students come after their regular school hours to put in more work. We have piles of old question papers and folders everywhere. It’s not the neatest office you’ll ever see, but we know where everything is kept. The windows look out over the market area, so it’s never really silent. We’ve been helping students with their careers for a long time now. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who handle the teaching and the paperwork. Sometimes the lights flicker when the rain is heavy, but we just keep going. It’s a very down-to-earth environment. We don’t make big promises or use shiny slogans. People come here because they know we’ll just sit down and work through the problems with them. It’s a local institution that’s been part of the neighborhood for years. We keep a stash of extra pencils and erasers for the kids who always forget theirs. It’s just a plain, hardworking place for anyone trying to get ahead. We stay open until the last student finishes their work for the day, which can sometimes be quite late.
