Manjeet Singh

I’m Manjeet Singh, and I operate out of 248 C in Raj Guru Nagar. This is right in Ludhiana, Punjab. If you know the area, it's a busy part of town but our street is okay. I’ve been doing this for a while now. It started small and it’s still pretty much a one-man show, though I have help when things get really crowded. Ludhiana is a city of hard workers, and I try to fit into that. I don't have a big fancy office with glass walls or anything. It’s just a workspace where I can focus. I handle most of the calls and the paperwork myself. People in the neighborhood know the house number. Sometimes the traffic on the main road is a headache, but once you get into Raj Guru Nagar, it’s better. I don't believe in using big words to describe what I do. It’s just a service. If someone needs help, they come to me and we talk. I grew up in Punjab and I like the way we do business here—face to face and with a handshake. I keep my tools and my desk organized, but the rest of the place looks like a working man’s shop. It’s not perfect, but it works for me. I spend a lot of time here, even on weekends sometimes. That’s just how it goes when you’re running your own thing in a city like this.
