Christian Medical College & Hospital

We spend most of our days here in the Department Of Biochemistry at Christian Medical College & Hospital. It is a busy spot. People are always coming in and out with samples or looking for results. It’s not really a fancy place, just lots of labs and people in white coats doing their work. If you walk through the main gates of Christian Medical College, you will find us soon enough. Most of the staff has been here for years. We know the routines well. The air usually smells a bit like chemicals, which is just how it is in biochemistry. Sometimes the machines get a bit loud, and we have to speak up to hear each other. It’s a lot of staring at charts and making sure everything is recorded right. We don't have much time for small talk, but we try to be helpful when someone looks lost in the hallways. The hospital is big, so people get lost a lot. We just keep our heads down and get through the lists for the day. It’s practical work. There is not much to it besides being careful with the tests. If you are looking for the Department Of Biochemistry, just ask anyone near the main entrance. We have been part of Christian Medical College & Hospital for a long time now. It’s a familiar place for many in the area. We just do the tests and keep things moving.
