Sony Brick Field

Sony Brick Field is tucked away in Sandoli, right on Faizabad Road. We are situated behind Shalimar Paradises, so it’s a bit of a mix of the old and the new around here. On one side you have the big modern complexes and on our side, it’s all dirt, mud, and hard work. The Faizabad Road is constantly buzzing with traffic, but once you step back into the field, it feels different. We’ve been working this land for quite a while now. The work is physically demanding and we are outside in all kinds of weather. You won’t find any air conditioning here, just the natural breeze if we are lucky. We make bricks the traditional way, using the soil from the area. It’s a long process from digging to firing the kilns. Our staff is like a big family, and some of the guys have been with us since the beginning. We eat together and complain about the heat together. We don't have a fancy showroom. If you want to see what we have, you just walk through the stacks of bricks in the yard. It’s honest, dirty work and we don't try to hide that. Sometimes the smoke from the kilns gets thick, but that’s just part of the landscape in Sandoli. We focus on the daily tasks and making sure we have enough stock for the local builders who rely on us.
