You can find Rst Brick Field right over by the Malhour Railway Station. We are situated on the Malhaur Railway Station Road, tucked in near the Ashraf Vihar Colony and Chinhat. Being so close to the station means we hear the trains rumbling past all day and night. It’s a busy part of the Gomti Nagar area, and we have seen a lot of changes over the years. When we first started, there wasn’t nearly as much traffic as there is now. Now, we have to time our truck deliveries so they don’t get stuck in the local congestion. Our yard is usually a bit of a mess with stacks of bricks everywhere and laborers moving back and forth. It’s not a corporate office environment. We have a small shed where we keep our records and stay out of the rain when the monsoon hits. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Usually, people just see our sign near the road or hear about us from their neighbors who are building houses in the colony. We focus on getting the firing right in the kilns. It’s a lot of waiting and watching the weather. If it rains too much, we have to cover everything up and wait. It’s a simple business but it keeps us on our toes. We are just local guys running a brick field in a spot that’s becoming very popular lately.
