Krishna Brick Field

Our office for Krishna Brick Field is in Shop No-D-303 at Shara Plaza. It’s located in Patarkar Puram, right in the middle of Gomti Nagar. It is a bit different because our main office is in a plaza, while the actual brick fields are out in the mud and the heat. I spend a lot of my time on the phone here, coordinating between the site and the customers who come into the shop. Gomti Nagar is a busy area, so there's always a lot of noise outside the window. We try to keep things moving smoothly, but logistics can be a real headache. Bricks are heavy and moving them through the city streets requires a lot of planning. People come into Shara Plaza looking for all sorts of things, and they often stop by to ask about the price per thousand bricks. We don't have fancy displays, just some samples on a shelf so you can see the color and the texture. It’s a lot of paperwork and managing schedules. Sometimes I have to head out to the fields to check on the production, and then I’m back in the office dealing with the accounts. We aren't a big corporation with departments; it's just us trying to keep the orders filled and the customers happy. It gets stressful when the trucks are stuck or the weather turns, but we just take it one day at a time. It’s a practical business run by people who know the trade.
