Shakti Bricks

If you are heading down Rai Bareli Road in the Telibagh area, you will find us over in Lalganj. We are located right near the Aryan Restaurant, which is where a lot of people stop to eat. Shakti Bricks is our yard where we make and keep all the bricks for the local builders. It is a busy stretch of road, so there is always a lot of movement and the sound of trucks going by. We spend most of our time at the kiln or out in the yard stacking the finished bricks. The clay we use comes from around here, and it’s a messy business, especially when it rains and the ground turns into a swamp. We have to be careful with the weather because it can ruin a whole batch if we are not paying attention. The guys here have been working with bricks for years, so they know the smell of the kiln when it is just right. We don't have a big corporate setup or anything like that. It is just a regular brick field where we work hard and hope for good weather. People from Telibagh and the rest of Lalganj know they can just drop in and talk to us. We usually have a pot of tea going and some dusty chairs for anyone who wants to sit for a minute. It is just our way of running things in this part of town.
