You can find Soma Sudh Shakahari Bhojan down in the Nilgiri basement on Faizabad Road. We are right there near the Neelgiri Complex in Indira Nagar. Being in a basement means it stays a bit cooler, which is nice when the Lucknow heat gets to be too much. We only serve vegetarian food here because that is what we know how to do. It is not a huge place, just a handful of tables and a kitchen where we spend most of our time. We have been here in the 226016 area for a bit, and a lot of the local office workers come down for lunch. It is kind of tucked away, so if you are not looking for us, you might walk right past the stairs. We do not have any big signs or bright lights. It is just us cooking and serving what we have for the day. Sometimes the basement gets a bit cramped when it is busy, and we have to shuffle chairs around to fit everyone. We just want to make sure people get a decent meal and go back to their work. We do all the washing and prep ourselves. It is hard work, but it keeps us busy.
