Foodeezzzz

We are up on the 1st Floor at K-714 in Ashiana Colony. It’s right by the Ashiana Main Chauraha in Lucknow 226012. Being on the first floor means people have to walk up the stairs to find Foodeezzzz. It’s a bit quieter than being right on the street level, which is nice sometimes. From the window, we can see the traffic at the Chauraha. Lucknow is a busy city, and this part of Ashiana Colony is always moving. We spend our mornings getting the kitchen ready. It’s a lot of routine stuff. We check the fridge, we clean the tables, and we make sure we have enough change in the drawer. The name is a bit long with all those letters, but that’s just what it is. We aren't corporate people. We just work here and live nearby. Sometimes the staircase gets a bit cluttered, so we have to clear it out. The regulars know the way up. We have some fans that stay on all day to keep the air moving. It gets humid in the summer. We don't have a lot of space for storage, so we have to get supplies delivered often. It’s just a regular local business. We don't make big promises. We just cook and serve and hope the electricity stays on. It's a simple way to spend the day. Most of the time we are just chatting amongst ourselves between the orders. It keeps the mood light while we work the long shifts.
