It’s a lively area of Lucknow to be in. Chilli For Chill And Caterers has been here for a bit. Being in the catering business means we are usually busy in the back, getting things sorted for whatever event is coming up next. The kitchen is always humming. We spend a lot of time checking on supplies and making sure the staff knows what to do. It’s not a quiet job. There is always someone coming in or out with crates and bags. Sometimes the narrow streets behind the main road get a bit blocked up with trucks, but that’s just Aliganj for you. We don't really do the big corporate talk. We are just a group of people who know how to cook for a crowd. It’s hard work, standing on your feet all day, especially when the Lucknow heat hits. But we have a good rhythm going. We see a lot of the same faces every week. People know where to find us when they have a wedding or a small party at home. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s a simple life running a local business like this one, and we are quite content with how things are.
