Shanti Brick Field

Shanti Brick Field is located out in Amaniganj, which is right near the Lucknow Sitapur border on the main road. It is a bit of a drive out here, but we like being where the air is a bit more open. Our yard is pretty large because we need the room to stack everything properly. We’ve been here for a while, and we’ve seen the border area get a lot busier with trucks heading in and out of the city. We don't have a big office or anything like that. We mostly just have a small covered area where we keep the records and escape the sun for a few minutes. Most of the day is spent walking the lines and making sure everything is drying correctly or getting moved to the right piles. It is hard, physical work and it doesn't leave much time for sitting around. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks or anything. If people need bricks, they find their way to us at Amaniganj. Sometimes we have to deal with the mud when it rains hard, which makes things a lot slower, but we just deal with it as it comes. It’s a simple life out here on the border. We know the local drivers and the regulars who come by. We just try to keep enough stock on hand so no one leaves empty-handed. It’s just how things are done here.
