Krishna Marble

We are located over at 131, Vidya Nagar, right in the Nilmatha area. It’s a decent spot for a stone yard. We have been here for a bit, moving marble slabs around and trying to keep the dust down as much as possible. It’s hard work, honestly, since those pieces are heavy and require a lot of careful handling. My brother and I usually handle the loading ourselves. The yard isn't huge but we make the most of the space we have. Most days start with us checking the inventory and making sure the water for the saws is ready. We get people coming in from all over the neighborhood looking for something specific for their kitchens or floors. We don't really do much advertising, mostly it’s just folks passing by or hearing about us from someone else nearby. The road outside can get a bit bumpy after the rain, which makes moving the trucks a challenge sometimes. We keep a small office in the corner where we sit down with customers to talk about what they need. It’s a straightforward way of doing things. No big corporate rules here, just us working and making sure the stone gets where it needs to go. It can be a long day, especially when a big shipment comes in, but we like the work. It keeps us grounded and we know everyone around here by name now which is a nice feeling for us.
