Concrete Shapes

Our place is out on Plot Number 27 along Kanpur Road, right in the middle of the Amausi Industrial Area. It’s a busy part of town with a lot of factories and workshops all around us. We spend most of our time here casting different types of concrete shapes for whatever projects are going on. The yard is usually covered in a bit of dust because that’s just how it is when you work with cement and gravel all day long. It isn’t the cleanest job, but there is something good about seeing a finished piece come out of a mold properly. We have a few guys who have been with us for years now, and they know exactly how to mix things so the concrete sets just right. People driving by on the way to the airport or into the city often stop in to ask about what we’re making. The sun can get really hot out on the plot during the summer months, which makes the work even harder, but we just keep at it. We don't use any fancy sales talk here; we just show people what we have in stock and let them decide. It’s a simple operation where we focus on the manual labor and making sure the trucks get loaded up without too much of a wait. Every day is pretty much the same routine of mixing, pouring, and moving things around until the yard is full.
