Aparna & Sr Marble

My brother and I started this place, Aparna & Sr Marble, quite some time back. We’re located right on Plot No. A-6 along Rai Bareli Road. If you know where the Utrathyia Railway Station is, we’re just a stone's throw from there. It’s a busy spot, mostly because of the trains and the traffic. We spend most of our days out in the yard moving marble slabs around. It gets pretty dusty, to be honest. We’re not some big fancy showroom with air conditioning and coffee machines. We just have a small office and a lot of stone sitting out in the sun. Some days it’s just me and a couple of helpers trying to get everything loaded onto the trucks. People stop by because they’re building a house nearby or fixing up a floor. We don't do much fancy talking here. You just come in, look at what we have on the racks, and we figure out the price. Sometimes the stock is a bit low if the shipment from the quarry is late, but that’s just how it goes. My nephew helps out with the ledger sometimes, but mostly it's just hands-on work. It's a tough job on the back, lifting those heavy pieces all day long. But we've been here a while and know the neighbors. If you're driving down the main road, you'll see the stacks of white and grey stone piled up near the gate.
