Janardan Bricks Field

You can find Janardan Bricks Field over at No. 594Ka/563 in Sharda Nagar. We are tucked away in the Neel Matha area. It’s a place where everyone seems to know everyone else. We started this brick field because there was a need for it nearby. Working with earth and fire is what we do every day. It’s a bit of a messy process, especially when the wind picks up and blows the red dust around the neighborhood. We try to keep the mess down but bricks are naturally dusty things. Most of our days start before the sun is fully up so we can get a head start on the heat. Sharda Nagar is a busy place, but our little corner feels like its own world once you step onto the field. We don’t have fancy brochures or a marketing department. We just have our piles of bricks and a few workers who know their business. People stop by to chat or check on their orders. We write things down in a notebook and keep track of everything manually. It’s how we’ve always done it at Neel Matha. Sometimes we run out of a certain type and have to tell folks to wait a week. That’s just the way it goes. We do our best with what we have here at 594Ka/563. The work isn't always easy, but we've been doing it a long time.
