Ak Blocks

Ak Blocks is based at Plot No- C-14 in Basha Village. If you are coming down Kursi Road, we are near the Sport College. It’s a good spot because there is enough space for all the sand and cement we need. The village is usually quiet except for the sound of our machines and the traffic on Kursi Road. We make blocks all day long and it’s a very physical job. There is dust everywhere and my boots are always covered in it. We start early to get ahead of the sun. The Sport College is a useful landmark for people who are trying to find Plot No- C-14 for the first time. We don’t have any big advertisements or a fancy office. It’s just a work site where we produce blocks for building projects. We have been here in Basha Village for a while now. The routine is the same most days. We mix the concrete, fill the molds, and then stack the finished blocks once they are dry. It’s hard work on the back and the hands. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult but we just manage as best as we can. We aren't a big corporation with polished offices. We are just a local business doing manual labor. It’s honest work and we take it one day at a time. Kursi Road is where you will find us every day, just getting on with things.
