Chikhurda Agro Producer Company Limited

Chikhurda is a quiet place in the Latur district, and that is where we are. Our office for Chikhurda Agro Producer Company Limited is set up at Suresh Bhujang Kadam’s place. It is right in the middle of the village area. We do not have a formal lobby or anything like that. It is just a house and some extra space where we manage the business. We spend most of our days talking to the farmers from around Latur. The weather out here can be quite dry, so we are always thinking about the water and the crops. Suresh is usually around to help with the local details. We keep things very basic. There is a table, some chairs, and a lot of record books. We do not use any corporate jargon when we talk to people. It is just plain English or the local language. We handle the collection and the sorting of what the farmers bring in. It is a lot of physical work combined with keeping the books straight. Sometimes we have a lot of people waiting under the trees outside when it is busy. It is a friendly atmosphere, even when things are hectic. We do not have a website with fancy photos. If you want to see what we do, you just have to come to Chikhurda and visit us at Suresh’s place. We have been doing this for a while and know the people here.
