Basweshwar Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited

We operate out of Sakol, specifically at Prabhakar Trimbakrao Dama’s place. It’s in the Shirur Anantpal area of Latur. Basweshwar Agro is a group of local farmers who decided to pool our resources together. It isn't a fancy setup by any means. We usually meet up in the mornings to go over what needs to be done for the day. There is always a lot of talk about the weather and how the soil is looking. Being in a small place like Sakol means everyone knows what everyone else is doing anyway. We help each other out with the heavy lifting and the admin work. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit overwhelming because there are so many of us in the collective. We just sit at the table and work through it bit by bit. It’s honest work. We don't have a big marketing department or anything. Most people find out about us just by talking to their neighbors. Latur is known for its agriculture, and we are just one small part of that. We focus on the daily tasks of getting the produce sorted and sold. It’s not always smooth sailing. Sometimes things get mixed up or the transport doesn’t show up when it should. We just find a way to fix it and move on. It’s just how things go around here in Shirur Anantpal. We’re just regular folks trying to make a living together.
