Sunrise Global School

At Plot No 4 in Gandhidham, you will find Sunrise Global School. We have a decent-sized plot where we set up the building and a bit of space for the students to move around. Gandhidham is an industrial sort of town, and our school sits right in the middle of it. The wind can be quite strong coming off the coast, and it often carries a bit of dust. We have rooms for all the primary and secondary classes. The desks are lined up in rows and the walls have some charts made by the students. We are not a high-end private academy with uniforms that cost a fortune. Most of our families are just regular people working in the port or the local businesses. We start early in the morning before the sun gets too high. The staff here are mostly local people who have lived in Gujarat their whole lives. We have a small office where we keep all the records and files. Sometimes the water supply is a bit slow, but we manage. We don't make big promises about the future; we just teach the lessons for the day. It is a practical environment where the kids learn to read and write. We have been here for several years now and have become a familiar sight on the street. It is just a normal school doing its thing in Gandhidham. We just keep moving forward one day at a time.
