Matrushri B G N Bhadra High School is found on Bazar Road in the Rampar Abda area of Kutch. Being situated on a main bazar road means it is never really quiet around here. You have the shops nearby and people going about their shopping while the kids are in class. It’s a very grounded kind of place. The school building is simple, made of local materials, and it fits right into the neighborhood. We have a modest playground where the students spend their time between lessons. The weather in Kutch can be quite harsh, either very hot or quite windy, so we are always adjusting to that. We don’t have a lot of fancy decorations or promotional banners. The name is painted on the wall, and that’s about it. Most of the families who send their children here are local workers or shopkeepers from the bazar. We know most of them by their first names. The school runs on a tight schedule, but we aren't overly formal about things. It’s more like a big family where everyone knows what they need to do. The desks are a bit worn out, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it doesn't stop the learning. We just focus on the daily tasks and making sure the students are where they need to be. It’s just a regular part of Rampar Abda life.
