Sarkari Uchh Madhyamik Shala

Sarkari Uchh Madhyamik Shala is out on Abay Road in Lodai, which is part of the Bhuj 370001 region. Being a government school, things are pretty straightforward here. We don’t have fancy rugs or air conditioning in every room. The walls are painted a standard color and we have the usual wooden benches for the students. It can get quite dusty out here on Abay Road, especially when the wind picks up across the open spaces near Lodai. You’ll see the local kids walking to the gate early in the morning, often chatting about stuff happening in the village. The staff room is usually full of tea cups and notebooks. We try to keep the place tidy, but with so many students coming and going, there’s always a bit of mud on the floors during the rainy season. It’s a practical place. We spend our time on the books and the lessons. The playground is mostly just flat ground where they play cricket or run around during the break. People in Bhuj know where we are, it’s not hard to find. We’ve been a part of this landscape for years. There’s a certain rhythm to the day here, from the first bell to the final one when everyone rushes out to head home. It’s simple, honest work, and we just do our best with what we have in this building. It is just our daily life here in the village.
