Shree Vividhlaxi Vidhya Mandir

Our school is out in Rapar, which is in the Kutch district. It’s a bit of a dry area, but we’ve made a home here at Shree Vividhlaxi Vidhya Mandir. The address is 370645 for anyone trying to send mail. We have a good number of students who come from the surrounding villages. The building is sturdy and has been through many seasons. We don't have air conditioning or anything like that, just some fans that we keep running during the summer months. The classrooms are filled with wooden benches and old blackboards. We teach the usual subjects that are required by the board. The staff is a small group of people who all know each other well. We often eat our lunch together in the small office. Rapar is a quiet town, so the school is one of the more active places during the day. We don't have a lot of modern gadgets, but we have plenty of books and notebooks. Parents usually come by on their way to the market to check on their children's progress. We like the way things are here. It’s not a complicated operation. We just make sure the school stays open and the lessons are taught properly. It’s a long-standing part of the Kutch community and we plan to stay that way for as long as we can.
