We are based in Edappadiyil House, which is in Peruvannamuzhi. That is over in Calicut, Kerala. It is a quiet area, away from the main rush of the city. We work out of our home here. It’s a traditional kind of setup where work and life just kind of blend together. The air is a bit fresher here than in the middle of town, which we like. Most of the people around here are families who have lived in Peruvannamuzhi for a long time. We know our neighbors and they know us. There isn't a front desk or a lobby. If you come to the house, you just walk up and knock. We handle everything ourselves, from the paperwork to the actual labor. It’s not a huge business, but it keeps us occupied throughout the week. Sometimes we have to head into Calicut for supplies, but we prefer staying here at the house. The rains can be heavy in this part of Kerala, so we often have to adjust our schedule around the weather. It is just the way things are. We don't have any grand plans to expand or move to a big office. This house has everything we need for now. It is a humble way to work, and we are fine with that. We just take things one day at a time and see what needs doing next. It works out for us.
