Devaki Amma Memorial College Of Pharmacy

If you head down to Chelembra in Malappuram, you’ll find us at Pulliparamba. The college has been around here for a while now. It’s mostly pharmacy students walking around in their lab coats. Kerala weather gets really hot, so the fans are always going in the classrooms. Being in Malappuram, we get a lot of local students from nearby towns. The drive to the college is through some green patches which is nice in the mornings. We have labs where students spend a lot of their time measuring things and looking at chemicals. It’s a serious place because of the subjects being taught. Sometimes the smell of the lab reaches the hallways. We try to keep the place organized, but with so many students, it gets a bit hectic. The office staff is usually busy with admissions or exam forms. People call us Devaki Amma College for short. We are out here in the 673634 zip code area. It’s a quiet spot away from the main city noise of Kozhikode, even though we aren't too far. Students sit outside during their breaks if it’s not raining. There is always someone coming in or out of the main gate. We just do our daily work and help the students with their requirements. It’s just a regular college day for most of us here. The building is simple but it serves the purpose for all the pharmacy training we do.
