Salp School

Salp School is situated on the Krishnagiri Mylambady Pullumala Road, specifically in Ward 3 of Mylambady. It’s a bit of a mouthful to say, but for us, it’s just where we work every day. Being in the Wayanad area, specifically the 673591 zone, we are surrounded by a lot of greenery, which is a nice change from the crowded cities. The road outside can get a bit muddy when it rains, and it rains a lot here, so we spend a fair amount of time mopping up the entrance. The school itself is a simple place. We don’t have a massive campus, just enough room for the kids who live nearby to come and learn. Most of our day is spent making sure the students are following their lessons and that the teachers have what they need. We aren't a big institution with lots of fancy rules. It’s more of a community feel where everyone knows each other’s business. We have a lot of local families who have been in Wayanad for generations. Our staff just tries to keep things organized, which isn't always easy when you have a lot of children in one place. We just handle the problems as they come up, whether it's a broken chair or a missing textbook. It’s a quiet life for the most part, just keeping the school going through the seasons.
