Vidya Vikas School

If you’re looking for us, we’re located in Vidya Nagar, right near the Karukadom post office. This school has been a part of the neighborhood for quite some time. The area is relatively quiet, which is nice for a school setting. Our building is tucked away, and it has a very simple, lived-in feel to it. The walls are lined with some old charts and the occasional drawing from the students. We don't have a massive campus with stadiums; instead, we have a decent-sized yard where the kids play football or just run around during their break. The office is usually a bit messy with files and registers piled up on the desks. We use a post box for a lot of our mail, which is why the address mentions P O Karukadom. It’s a very traditional way of doing things, but it works for us. The teachers here are quite down-to-earth and they don't use a lot of fancy technology. It’s mostly just books, pens, and a lot of talking. We have students from the local families who appreciate that we are close by. In the monsoon season, the trees around Vidya Nagar get very green and the whole place smells like rain. It’s a peaceful spot for a school, and we just keep things moving along without trying to be something we’re not. It’s a plain and simple place for kids to learn their lessons every day.
