Cardinal Padiyara Public School & Jr.College (Cbse)

Out in Manimala, things are usually a bit slower than in the big cities, but Cardinal Padiyara Public School & Jr.College stays quite active. We are a CBSE school, so we follow that curriculum, which keeps the students and the teachers pretty occupied throughout the week. The school is located in a spot that most people in this part of Kottayam can find without too much trouble. We have the usual school stuff—classrooms with rows of wooden desks, a place for the kids to run around during their breaks, and an office where the staff tries to keep the mountain of paperwork organized. It is a lot of coordination to keep a junior college and a public school running at the same time. You hear a lot of bells ringing and feet shuffling in the corridors between periods. We do not have any fancy slogans or big promises to show off. It is just a place where kids come to learn their lessons. Some of the teachers have been with us for years and they know the families in the area very well. It feels like a neighborhood spot. On rainy days, the mud gets tracked in by the boots, and on sunny days, it gets a bit warm in the upstairs rooms, but we just keep going. It is a practical environment for the students who live around Manimala and the nearby villages to get their schooling done properly.
