If you take the road from Puthuppally toward Vadavathoor, you’ll find us right there at Manganam. This part of Kottayam is usually quiet, which is good for a school like this. We’ve got students staying here, so the place never really sleeps. There is always someone walking across the yard or sitting on the steps talking. It’s a big campus with a lot of trees and old buildings that have been around for quite some years. We don’t really go for anything flashy. Most of our days are just filled with the usual stuff like bells ringing for classes and the mess hall being busy during lunch. It can get a bit crowded when everyone is out at once, but that’s just how it is. The staff lives nearby or right on the grounds, so we’re always around if something needs fixing or if a student has a problem. We spend a lot of time on the grounds after classes are done for the day. Living and working in the same spot means you get to know everyone pretty well. It’s not like those fancy city schools with glass buildings. Here, it’s mostly concrete, grass, and a lot of books. We keep the gates open during the day for deliveries and parents, but mostly it’s just our own little world tucked away on Madhavanpady Puthupally Road.
