Itc Hotel

My name is Shinto George and I stay at Chelliyil House in Amanakara. This is where we run things for the Itc Hotel side of stuff here in Ramapuram, Kottayam. Kerala is beautiful, but it rains a lot, so we are always checking for leaks or dampness in the building. Our address is a bit tucked away in the Amanakara post office area. It is a quiet place compared to the big cities. We don't have a lot of staff, just a few people from the village nearby. We do our work without making much noise about it. The office is really just a room with some old wooden furniture and a phone that rings more than I'd like. We handle the local arrangements and see that things are in order. It is a very green area with lots of trees around the house. Sometimes it feels more like a home than a place of business. We don't have a big sign out front or anything. Most people know us because they know my family or have lived here for years. It is a simple way of living and working. We follow the rhythm of the town. When the sun goes down, things get very still. We are just trying to do our part in the hotel business from this small corner of Kottayam. It is not much, but it keeps us busy through the year.
