Ambassador Hotel

We sit right on K.K. Road, and it’s a pretty busy spot. There is always a lot of traffic outside, with buses and cars going by all day. Our building is a bit older, and you can tell by the style of the windows and the lobby. We’ve been operating here for a long time. We have rooms on a few floors, and we don’t have a big fancy elevator, just a simple one that gets the job done. The staff is a small group. We do the laundry ourselves in the back and make sure the sheets are clean. We don’t have a huge menu in the kitchen, just some standard dishes that people like. Most of our guests are just passing through for work or to see family. We don’t have a big shiny sign or a lobby filled with flowers. It’s a practical place for people who need a bed. We spend our time fixing little things like leaky taps or loose door handles. It’s an honest way to make a living. The noise from K.K. Road is something you get used to after a while. We don't try to pretend to be anything more than a basic hotel. We provide a room and a bit of breakfast. It’s easy to find us because we are right there on the main stretch. We just keep the doors open and the place running as best as we can every day.
