It’s a simple spot, not one of those massive luxury resorts you see in magazines. We have a few rooms and a main area where we keep all our supplies. Most of the people who work here live nearby, so we all know each other’s business. We spend a lot of time just watching the boats go by and keeping the grass from growing too long. It’s a quiet life in Kodimatha. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone writing fancy speeches for us. We just tell people how it is. The rooms are clean, the view is nice, and we try to be helpful when someone asks a question. Sometimes the mosquitoes get a bit much in the evening, but that’s just part of being near the lake. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just trying to keep the resort running and make sure our guests have what they need. It’s a practical way to live and work. We hope to stay here for a long time.
