Yadan Shop

Over here at 26, Italgacha, life moves at its own pace. Yadan Shop is just a small setup in this part of Kolkata, and we've been operating out of this same spot for a while. It’s not a big company with many offices, just this one storefront where we handle everything. The pincode 700079 is what you’d put on the mail, but most people just know us as the shop down the road. Running a place in Kolkata means dealing with the rain and the heat, so we spend a lot of time making sure the goods stay dry. Our shelves are filled with the usual stuff you'd expect. We don't spend money on big signs or decorations. The floor is a bit worn from people coming in and out, but it works. Usually, the mornings are the quietest time to get the inventory sorted. By the afternoon, the street gets louder and we are mostly busy handing things over the counter. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the physical shop where you can see what’s available. Sometimes we run out of things and have to wait for the next delivery, which can be annoying for the regulars. It’s a simple way to earn a living. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing every day. It’s nothing more and nothing less than a local corner shop for the neighborhood.
