You can find us at 33, Bepin Behari Ganguly Street. This is an old part of the city, and the building we are in has a lot of history to it. Rajat Tie Up Pvt. Ltd. operates out of a few rooms here. The ceilings are high and the windows are the old-fashioned kind that let in a lot of light. It gets quite noisy outside because Bepin Behari Ganguly Street is a major thoroughfare. We hear the trams and the cars all day long. Inside, we have our desks piled with papers and files. We aren't a big modern company with sleek furniture. Our chairs are a bit creaky and the cupboards are made of heavy wood. We spend our time coordinating things and making phone calls. It’s a lot of routine work, like checking lists and writing down notes. The stairs leading up to our office are quite steep, so we get a bit of a workout every time we come in. There is a tea stall at the corner where we get our snacks. Most of the other people in the building have been here for years, so everyone knows everyone else. It’s a very traditional way of working. We don't use much fancy technology, just what we need to get the job done. It feels like a solid, grounded place to be. We are just a small group of people doing our work quietly.
