Studding

Started this little place at 20 Pallisree some time ago. It’s not a big shop or anything. Mostly just us working with studs and small parts all day. Kolkata gets really humid in the summers, so we keep a couple of fans running constantly while we work. The street outside is usually quiet in the mornings, then picks up later on. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy. Just a door and a workspace. Sometimes the neighbors stop by to chat while we’re busy. We spend a lot of time organizing boxes and making sure we don't lose the small bits and pieces. It’s a bit dusty, but that’s just how it is when you’re working with your hands. We open up early, drink some tea, and get to it. There’s always something to fix or sort out. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in the city. We just like having our own spot in Pallisree where we can do our work without too much fuss. It gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of stock in, but we manage to move things around. Most of the furniture is old, maybe older than the shop itself. We just keep our heads down and do what needs doing. It’s a simple life at number 20. We hope to stay here for a long time. It works for us and the people who know us.
