Walls & Bricks has been operating out of 51, Canal East Road for a good while now. If you have ever been down this way in Kolkata, you know it is a busy, noisy stretch of road. There are always trucks moving and people loading things. We are right in the middle of it all. We deal in the basic stuff that every building needs. Bricks, blocks, and other wall materials. It is not a glamorous business, but it is what we know. Our yard is often a bit of a mess with all the different loads coming in and going out, but we have our own way of keeping track of it. We do not have a fancy showroom with lights and displays. Usually, we just stand out by the gate or sit in our small office to talk to the contractors and homeowners who stop by. We have seen the city grow a lot from this vantage point near the canal. People come to us when they are starting a new project or fixing up an old one. We try to keep our prices fair because we know how expensive building a house can be these days. We spend a lot of time drinking tea and waiting for the next delivery truck to navigate the narrow streets. It is a practical, everyday sort of job. We just focus on getting the right materials to the people who need them.
